Analogue Interaction
x_encode is an interactive experience that explores the future possibility of memory encoding and the commoditization of skillsets. It allows the user to play out the possibility of being able to select a skill, the years of experience, and uploading that information to their unconscious mind in seconds. Of course, with any machine tempering with the connections of your mind, side effects may occur.
The 1980's sci-fi visual direction of the digital and anologue components create an ominous setting for the experience. The system of gridded dots are the base in which typographic SVG animations signal the user on the type of skill they are encoding. It derives simply from the idea of reconnecting one's memory. Likewise, the stripped aesthetic suggests something which deals with the (re)writing of code.
